if i was a homosexual
i would write about
hate
torn apart families
and conservative ideology
but
i’m straight

if i was a woman
i would write about
oppression
female empowerment
and a history of degradation
but
i’m male
and white

so if i was black
i would write about
everything listed above
and also how big asses are hot
i think
if i was a gay black woman
i would get published like mad

if i
were a str8 white male
i would probably not
have to deal with opression
in real life

so i could spend more time
thinking about art
and writing poems
and being privileged

but i’m not
so
i guess i’ll go jerk off
to dudes in suits
and consider the fact
that i am not viewed
as a “whole” human
within the legislation
of the country
i live in
