“I fell asleep during Winter’s Bone” by Stephen Tully Dierks

I fell asleep during Winter’s Bone.

I started Enter the Void and got bored.

I half-assedly skipped ahead in case Paz de la Huerta was naked in one of the scenes.

She’s naked a lot in that one Jim Jarmusch movie where the bro walks around all movie looking cool and having coffee with zany character actors.

I don’t know, I like that music video he made for the band Girls, and Dead Man, and Coffee and Cigarettes.

I remember watching Broken Flowers in the theater and being like, “Again with the fade to black, Jesus Christ…”

Bill Murray sits around his house looking dejected as fuck. Plays some jazz. Takes a nap. Fade to black. Bill Murray gets in a car. Throws some jazz on. Drives to some house. Rings doorbell. Haunted-looking woman answers the door. Slams it in his face. Fade to black.

Luke and I watched that movie at the Oriental Theatre, and we ran into the pretty girl from middle school outside. She was with some bro. She said she loved it.

  10. Good job Stephen. I got Damnation out from the library the other day. When I watched it something kept on coming up saying “skipping over damaged areas”. I kept on thinking that maybe I was missing pivotal parts of the film. Finally it happened again, like 20 minutes from the end and just went back to the menu.
